ok, maybe i'm just thick, but have we been given a bye into the group stages of this year's europa league? i see the fixtures for the first (elimination) round, but we've not been drawn. is it somehow down to our 4th place in the league that sees us through? sorry to be so clueless, but what am i missing?

oh, and i want to win this, by the way. i'm not exactly 100% on board the AVB love train at the moment (shipping out daws is not helping), but showing some heart in the pursuit of this particular trophy would go some way toward it.

    it's europe ... and we've got pedigree.

    COME ON YOU SPURS!!

I'll agree with this sentiment, though I'm fully on the AVB train.

I just saw that Fox Soccer 2Go has all the Europa League games this season, plus it looks like a good number of EPL games (including our next two but that's as far as the schedule goes. ) Not sure if all EPL games will be on or just some/most. I had the service when it first came out but cancelled it because there were a lot of problems. They claim to have fixed them. There's a free 7-day trial if anyone wants to check it out.

I am Hoping Gio Dos Santos stays and gets a chance under AVB - perhaps his best chance will be in the Europa League - do you remember this goal he scored against Shaktar http://goo.gl/gYKCW

I used the 7-day trial to watch the WB game and unsubscribed, but got over this offer for a 6 months free access to foxsoccer2 go. you only have to do 1 money transfer via XOOM, which maybe not that bad:

That's a tough draw, could have been a lot easier. Some nice away days for the travelling fans - Athens, Rome, and... er... Slovenia

damn ... i thought the fixtures would be out with the draws. i'm going to be over during the first group stage match (20 sept), and am hoping against hope that we're at the lane for that one (lazio, please) ... but i'm not seeing the fixtures anywhere. am i missing something? anyone know if/when they've/'re gone/going up?

edit: just seen it at the club's official site ... it's lazio at the lane on the 20th. GET THE FOOK IN!!

It is quite a tough group. Though if we take this competition seriously then we should get through the group. On paper we are the strongest team here.

Thank ******** we didn't draw Azeri team Neftci Baku, travel wise it would be a nightmare.
