Watching the DC-Spurs match on TV...

...I'm jealous. I'd like to see the Fire play a game like that. I'd like to travel to see it. EPL, Bundesliga, whatever. That would be fun.

I'm with you there. I was watching the game and wishing it could be the Fire someplace in Europe with me (us) in the stands. I have no problem with playing these MFL teams, but given the choice I would love to play a European team away and travel to the game. Just being selfish maybe.

If Hristo could put in a good word for us with Barca, it would be really cool to play them. Think Liam would be passionate about that one?

I can tell you that Kevin Payne was talking to Peter about this after a match this summer. The only problem was that we, The Fire, made it to the playoffs...DC didn't.

So, DC went to Engerlund and we lost to the Revs.

Ah yes, but who would Sr. Murtaugh support?

In the (unlikely) event that this ever happens, you can bet I can round up enough Madridistas to form a sizable Ultras Sur contingent.
