So Conte has his 6-pack, and we have plenty of money left. I think they will spend big on a Romero level CB if one becomes available. If Rodon and Tanganga are both loaned out (likely), 5 CBs won't be enough. I also feel we need one more attacking option. I wouldn't mind Maddison.

Must get people out the door, first.

Rodon is in France for a medical ahead of a 1 year loan to Rennes, with option to buy.

I feel like Rodon never really got much of a chance at Spurs. Horrible luck with injuries. Good luck to him.

Lo Celso and Tanganga seem in line to be the next to go. Things have gone quiet on Reguilon and Winks. And Ndombele - hard to believe anyone would want him at his price.

We need another CB. Five is not enough if we are playing 3 in the back. Also have just 5 for the front 3 positions (assuming Gil goes out on loan). Need somebody else, perhaps a "creative" midfielder so we can go 3-5-2 if needed. Zaniolo did not impress me, tbh.

Meanwhile some crackhead reporter thinks we are still in for Traore.

I read something about Reguilon to Barca within the last couple days. 20-25m, I think was thrown out there. Euros, not pounds.

I've just had a look, but seen nothing on it from any Spurs sources. Probably nonsense.

Young Udinese fullback Destiny Udogie has agreed terms, and the deal is for an immediate load back to Udinese for this season. Kind of like the Pepe Mata Sarr deal. Apparently Paratici is a big fan of Udogie. He could be the Perisic successor in a couple of years.

Some renewed buzz about a Lo Celso deal, Villareal most likely but Fiorentina also interested. Even some rumors Villareal want Ndombele too.

That's huge (or "important"). It should be easier to get Winks and Reguilon out the door, since they are pretty good players.

As for Tanganga, he can't go anywhere unless we sign another CB. Also, he's homegrown and that is critical. So he may be the 6th choice CB. Sucks for him.

Similar for Gil. I don't know if Conte really thinks he's ready for EPL, but right now he is the 6th choice for the front 3 unless Spurs bring in somebody else.

Having said that, I've seen rumors that Spurs are secretly planning to bring in a major signing once the outgoings are taken care of. Speculation seems to be about attacking midfielders.

I've seen some Malinovsky and Paqueta links recently. Wouldn't be upset with either of them, maybe slightly preferring Malinovsky for his set pieces.

Romero out for 3-4 weeks, so Tanganga is definitely staying.

They've basically signed the French Jason Koumas.

Sorry to quote myself but had to share a terrible pun from Ali Gold on his podcast this week: talking about this transfer he asked, "How much was Udogie in the window?"

Looks like Winks is off to Sampdoria on loan.

    And then there was one...

Reguilon to Atletico Madrid confirmed. 1 year loan, no option. Good luck Regi!

That might be it for the window. Gil could yet go out on another loan to Valencia, but not without a squad replacement.

One bad thing about all these loans is that Paratici will have to expend all that energy over again next year, because the not-so-fabulous four aren't going to play for Conte.

Looks like Sarr and Tanganga will stay, at least until January. Sarr has to stay because there are only 2 other healthy central midfielders atm. No new CB is coming in, so Tanganga must stay as the 6th CB option.

That is a good place to go - Simeone is an excellent coach and we could get a much-improved player coming back.

Does he (Simeone) play with wing backs?

No, but he did a great job with Trippier - he and his coaching staff are similar to Conte - big on fitness and defense first - that is why Conte passed on him, his defending is way too erratic.

Pretty good transfer window, eh? I agree with Conte that it will take another couple of windows to assemble a group that can challenge the big 2. Hope Gil and Sarr actually get to play.

Rumor Juventes have identified Emerson Royale as their number one target in the summer. Can you imagine we steal Bentancour and Deki from them and offload Royale.

Paratrici must have some blackmail material on someone at Juve
