Ramsdale just said a fan punched him in the back. He wasn't looking so he probably assumed it was a punch and not a kick.
Some thoughts... - had he had a better 1st touch today, Eddie likely gets 2 goals. - felt the 5 behind Eddie were spectacular. - wish White would play more inverted and do less overlaps. It occasionally opens up space inside for Saka but it also opens a huge hole for a counter and White really isnt a good crosser. - Richarlison is a prick - Lloris is washed
At HT, Rebecca Lowe asked "A gulf in class?" and Robbie Earle said "yup". And you could apply that gulf in class to the fan base as well
Mikel did well. Went on the pitch to close down the anger from Ramsdale and Xhaka, told them to just join the rest celebrating and thanking the fans. Otherwise they were ready for bout! Great leadership from Mikel.
You know somehow when I saw HOW MUCH Aaron Ramsdale wants to win every match and how hard he fights for every ball last season I saw that he could be a star for Arsenal and the whole world is discovering how great he has become, not bad for what was merely a backup for Bernd Leno who himself lost had his first 3 matches last season, and then after being given that chance Ramsdale has shined ever since. Now, do you think that USMNT #1 stopper Matt Turner should be put in on occasion due to his performance for us (USA) in the World Cup or do you continue to go with the hot hand in Ramsdale??? Tough decision making for Mikel Arteta in these next several weeks to come with Europa League and FA Cup matches coming up, do you say perhaps Aaron Ramsdale for EPL tilts and Matt Turner for EL and Cup duty, what do you think??? Arsene Wenger did it, he utilized that same formula so both keepers got equal work.
Turner should get a few more games in the cups, but I doubt Mikel will use him in or after QF stage. But he seems a solid #2 to have at this point, and if anything were to happen to Aaron, I'd be confident that Matt would step up.
I think they add someone, the question is hiw many and what position(s). We know that Mikel wants a W. Hopefully we are also looking at DM/CM & ST.
finally saw the video of the richarlison/spurs fan incident. What complete and utter punk asses they are. talk about a club "losing control" of their players and support. I anxiously await to see what happens next.

Richarlison lashed out and caught Ramsdale .. on the face or neck by the look of things .. then that young idiot jumped on the fence and kicked Ramsdale in the back ..
Post match red card, that happens during the game and you are off. He should have to sit out a few matches.
Nervy parts very early, probably within first 10 minutes, then he calmed down and began to control the game. BTW to date he has not been charged.
