"He says anyone who has an issue with his salary should take it up with the commission that hired him."

Damn, if I was a citizen of the District, that's exactly what I would do.

I accept that under the "you gotta spend gold to get gold" rule.

By "burned," though, he's probably referring to the steak at Morton's that was more well done than he had ordered.

Explain this. They had discrimination charges brought on them and paid a a gross amount of money to their lawyers to settle a case which really reminds me of something our friend Jesse would do. "They passed me up for a younger employee" maybe he was working harder????

Interesting...So, Goldwater was general manager of the Staples Center. I dare say AEG probably knows him pretty well. And, I guess they didn't try to retain him when he came here.

By the way, I like this sentence:

"I'd rather be viewed as an organization that tries to do things on behalf of the District than be viewed as one that is just going through the motions," he said, responding to recent reports about his commission's dramatic increase in spending on parties, travel and dining during the past two years.

I don't know how it is possible to say I am something 'plural'.

    I am Major League Soccer.
