I dont like the solid green colour on the back... its bad. I dont even like it when they have solid white on the back either. im picky, I only like them when they are proper sporting jersies with the stripes going all the way around and not being broken on the back. they always have to make these stupid changes just so people buy them because its changed.
UEFA regulations require all teams to have a solid colour on the back of the jerseys for all euro competitions. Thats why you will find many teams with different jerseys for euro games.
Apparently the white letters and numbers weren't available for the Guimaraes game: http://www.record.pt/noticia.asp?id=752185&idCanal=24 But according to reports from the Club, the Names and Numbers on the back of the Jerseys will be in White. This will look much better as the Black outline Names and the Black Numbers were not visible on the green back of the jerseys. Should be a vast improvement.
I agree, this is only a cash grabbing scheme. SPOONS MURDOCH will not be purchasing this Jersey. Viva o sporting!
Vast improvement with the white numbers and letters on the back...the jersey has grown on me... It now looks very good, once the put the correct lettering on the back...
