6-1 FT. This was just was Sporting needed.
I hope Boavista's defence is like this against Porto.

Clearly their best game of the season. Pinilla scoring was nice to see, even though it came late in the game. hopefully he will gain some confidence from this.

Beating Boavista was a great tonic to forget about last week's disaster against FCP. Getting 6 goals out of this win was just the icing on the cake. Douala, Liedson, C. Martins and Viana had a great game. And, to top it all off, Pinilla scored!!! I haven't celebrated a goal in the way I did today after Pinilla scored since Sa Pinto scored the 3rd goal at the Luz last season in SCP's 3-1 win...

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but I thought Viana was not eligible to play against Newcastle.

Portoholic-you're right, as part of their deal Viana can't play against Newcastle.

I'm scared... 6-1 to BOAVISTA? What will they to my beloved Beira-Mar? If Cajuda by somehow ties or wins... then... Cajuda for president! :D

    Impressive win.

But, how in the world does Boavista give up 6 goals? They usually don't even let anyone play for more than 30 minutes while the other 60 is spent delaying the game with fouls, faking injuries, and time wasting. Sporting with 6 goals in 30 minutes is just a downright Rodney King like beating.

Good game by Sporting, but what a terrible game made by Boavista, this is probably the most humiliating defeat for Boavista in the last 20 years.

There's been some lopsided scores this year and it really doesn't translate in better performances. For exampel Benfica last week (4-0) and a couple of weeks ago Estoril (5-0 vs Beira-Mar). But eitehr way, a very deserving win for Sporting

I think he has 4 goals in the Superliga now (which ties him with Quaresma). Not too shabby.

so anyone still thinks that C.Martins doens't have talen to NT? u guys need to believe in me, he was better one against Porto and again against Boavista, C.Martins will be better than Deco. About Peseira he should play with this team, until' he feels that the team need some changes, cause Beto doesn't deserve a plce in this team, the Nigerian Enakharire is a superb CB, not a RB,. and Rogeria is very good as RB not CM as he used to play, Carlos Martins should always be a starter for sporting, he's the real n10 of this team, Viana is simply a forward
