    yeah it was brutal, lots of chances to score but not enough luck and the keeper was brilliant.

    even liedson was misfiring, postiga missing a header from right in front of the goal.

    These are the games that are hard to swallow. Sporting were all over them, shot after shot but nothing would go in!
    2 very tough points to lose especially at home !

    In postiga's defence, if that ball is an inch lower, he hammers that in!!
    We seem to always run into hot goalkeepers:confused:

    I guess this match can be remembered as a missed opportunity to catch points on the other top of the table teams that also tied their matches. :)

    at least we were let off the hook:D

    anyways im not worried, sporting will win all the rest of the liga matches and cruise to the title .

    we are only 3 pts out of 1st with 18 games to play, I like our chances still:cool:

    The problem here was most players were looking ahead to the Xmas break, and not concentrated. The only good thing was that the competition also lost points at home.

    were behind mostly cuz we lost those 3 games to the top 3 teams (Porto, leixoes, benfica), that doesnt happen too often in the 2nd half of the season we gotta do better than that in those big games.

    Against lesser teams so far we won em all except for two draws, and like PIO said I think the christmas break affected all the teams mentally.

    but we still gotta play the madeira teams.
