Weather will be something to watch tonight. Houston likely won't want to push the game to tomorrow with the USOC final on Wednesday, though Miami plays Sunday in Orlando. Also will be interesting to see what Olsen does with his lineup tonight with the USOC Final ahead.
This could be another disappointing outing if Pulido can't go. Agada will probably start and hopefully regain his form. Houston has outscored their opponents 15-2 over their last 7 games. I can't see any changes in the SKC defense since PV continues to have his player blinders on and there seems to be nothing better on the bench. This is not a good scenario for SKC.
Dany Rosero was the CB we’ve been asking for for years tonight. In the 2nd half tonight any ball into the box he was winning.
I think if the red wasn't given this game was destined to end up like 4-3 SKC or something. There were going to be many more goals in the game.
That's awesome! The stats looked unkind so I was afraid to know. Seeing fussing about Johnny's red, but y'all are a better read of the game than Reddit. Fair card?
It was really orange if not red. Dangerous studs up tackle into a straight leg even if it did get some ball.
I've seen worse stuff than that get a yellow, but he did come into the other player's leg with studs up. I thought it was harsh.
Immediately after Penso shows red, GK Steve Clark looks back and taunts the Cauldron. Minutes later, Clark gives up the game winner while up a man. There is a God.
I thought Logan and Rosero were exceptional, like MLS team of the week exceptional. And no mistakes, smart play from JFD or Fontas. Also, Radoja was strong. It was a great defenisve effort. And Agada looked like Agada of last summer, pouncing on that ball, creating a bit of havoc. I'm sure the Instant review crew will say JFR's red was a good red, but man, he got a lot of the ball before he made contact with the man. this was one of those never back in the good ol days reds.
I have to admit that I thought all was lost when JFR got the red card. Was glad to see the fight in the team and thought they played exceptionally well when down to ten men. This keeps them in the playoff hunt. The LAG/Austin draw helped that as well (as did a few other results).
