The future will look to this game as the first win of an unlikely thirteen-game winning streak that, against all odds, saw Sporting Kansas City win the treble in 2015. Make sure you're there to be a part of history, folks.
Is this game still on local TV since it's televised on the Spanish channel? Or am I going to have to watch at a bar somewhere?
Will be my annual trip to Sporting Park. Hopefully they come out reenergized. ^ exciting news. I was a bit upset when I thought the already anaemic attack was going to be without it's starting CF
Worst possible start time for any sports event. I mean, start it a 530 or earlier and it's a day event. Start it at 73o or later and it's a prime time thing. But 6pm local, that's like life's rush hour for the majority of everyone. Reason I love the west coast starts.
I'm not sure what to expect tonight. SKC hung 7 goals on FCD the last two games they played while only giving up one. But, FCD is currently playing in form and scoring goals while SKC is struggling to figure out how to win a game. I've never been more unsure of an outcome as I am today.
7? We've put 10 on them in the last 2 games. We've also done that without them having Castillo on the field and we've seen how well we've done against speed this year (hint, not well). Also I'll share this considering today's forecast: http://m.mlssoccer.com/news/article...pdates-policies-regarding-match-postponements
6pm start, severe T-storms in the forecast, SKC wheels either falling off or have completely fallen off (depending on if you are glass half empty or no water in glass kind of guy). Haven't been less excited for a home game since the CAB days.
We seem to score a lot against Dan Kennedy. Not sure why. Having flash backs to Seth vs Oduro and Seth vs Teal. I would expect to see Castillo lineup on Seth's side.
Duh, I was looking at the wrong score line. Either way, they got humiliated twice and will be looking for some revenge to make sure they are in a good place for the playoffs.
I think he'd be the better matchup. Plus, obviously semi-independent of his reappearance, but Sporting hasn't really looked particularly solid in any games since Seth's return, that I can think of.
If the game is delayed/postponed what is the best/most efficient way to find out before I arrive at the stadium? This thread, sportingkc.com, mlssoccer.com, is there a local radio station with pregame? I'm not from KC and will be heading that way pretty soon. I've seen three completely different weather reports for 5P.M.-8P.M.: 80% chance of rain/thunderstorms, 30%, and 0% so not really sure what to expect. Thanks.
I'm not sure they'll make a determination on delaying the game until closer to actual game time. But if they do if guess Twitter would be the fastest way, I assume if it was they'd get it out there first as it is probably the fastest.
