Draw for the CONCACAF Champions Cup is tomorrow at 6pm. Sporting will be draw against an MLS team or LigaMX side. Monterrey, Tigres, Cruz Azul, LAFC, Miami, Seattle, Pumas, Chivas, Cincinnati, Salt Lake, Vancouver. https://www.concacaf.com/champions-...mpions-cup-official-draw-pots-and-procedures/ Yes Sporting can be draw with another MLS side in this format, see Houston/St. Louis last year.
So we're out in the first round, which is fine. I guess if I'm SKC corporate, I'm praying for Inter Miami, and failing to land that Arrowhead Day, Chivas. Worst case scenario would be, what, Vancouver (probably lose to everyone, but this might be the toughest for bringing in a crowd)?
So, Arrowhead, again? Is it another 70,000? I mean, this time, Messi is less likely to be a doubt. I find this kind of boring, but as I guessed above, best case scenario for the SKC front office? Really should be the last chance to host Messi, as a player.
Tickets also not included in STM accounts. Though spots are reserved and like all STM tickets now you have to opt-out, not opt-in.
