Any attempt at posting a possible lineup for this game is nigh impossible. We simply have no way of knowing who is going to be available to play by Saturday. Here are the potential absentees:

    Roger - definitely out
Peterson - definitely out (shoulder sprain)
    Myers & Collin - maybe
    Sapong - who knows?

So that leaves us with what for a starting 11? Convey-Bunbury-Kamara, ???-Nagamura-Zusi, Sinovic-Besler-Olum-Harrington?

Love to see Cesar back starting, but it might be Thomas. Sure hope Sapong can start over Bunbury although neither one of them has lit it up lately.

Ah, who am I kidding. With all our focus on the USOC, and with our injuries and poor form, I wouldn't be surprised to see another loss.

Good news is we're pretty good in New England at Gillette, 7-3-5 all time.

I am prepared for a loss in this one, as USOC is waaaaay more important this week. Just don't lose by more than 2 so we can take the season series. I am hoping Chance rests for this one so he is ready to go Wednesday. AND PLEASE NO MORE INJURIES!

The negative pessimism is starting to flow. Would be great for NE to pick up a red in the 14th and drub them 3-0 or something for a confidence boost.

I'd really like to see a Cesar, Nags, Zusi midfield. Especially with Roger's likely absence.

    I'm prepared for disappointment though.

    Game preview. Latest injury report:
    • NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION – OUT: FW Alec Purdie (L ankle sprain); GK Bobby Shuttleworth (L knee sprain); DF A.J. Soares (R hamstring strain); QUESTIONABLE: MF Diego Fagundez (L ankle sprain); DF Kevin Alston (L hamstring soreness); PROBABLE: DF Darrius Barnes (L adductor strain)
    • SPORTING KANSAS CITY – OUT: DF Cyprian Hedrick (L fibula fracture); GK Jon Kempin (R ankle fracture); FW Jacob Peterson (R shoulder sprain); QUESTIONABLE: DF Aurelien Collin (facial fracture); DF Chance Myers (groin strain); FW C.J. Sapong (R adductor strain)
Looks like both team might have patchwork defensive lines.

Any bets on how many times Feilhaber rolls on the turf in agony?

FYI- Head to head goal differential is not a tie breaker.

I see Harrington playing RB. PV should try him in the midfield, he has a good touch and is a liability on defense.

Huh, the New England announcers on MLS Live. That's a change of pace. Oh, wait....

I need to see that Bunbury Feilhaber encounter again. If Feilhaber recoiled from the challenge, we probably caught a break from the ref there.

Harrington was a LM for the first two years of his career.

What the hell is going on with Kamara???? No effort, no hustle, he looks completely uninterested in playing soccer...

Nice turn and shoot by Bunbury. Showing off his technique tonight apparently.

Hadn't really notice this until you mentioned it (only watching the game with one eye, at times.) But yeah... not the Kei we're used to at all. Hope he's over it by Wednesday.

Not a real warm, friendly handshake between Heaps and PV.

Good game by Teal. Hope he continues it on Wednesday. Oh, and I hate NE's Field Turf.

We won 1-0. This was a great time for a win. No serious injuries. Definitely pleased with the result.

It's going to happen almost all the time. It's the price we pay for having our games on broadcast television...

Someone tell me, in the confines of this game and how it was being called, how Soony didn't get a PK?

Many of the teams that partner with local Fox Sports channels don't, or other local sports networks... If we were still with MetroSports or Fox Sports KC, etc. then we probably would have more games on MLS Live/DK

Good game tonight. I thought they played smart, looking for the chances to appear rather than force them. Still need to hustle more when we turn the ball over. I was very happy with the play by Teal tonight, looking' forward to watching his play on Wednesday.

I'm not being argumentative because I don't know, but why do you feel that's the case?
