LAG have the more talented team, 4th in the table and so far this season are undefeated on their own pitch. SKC lose Hernandez and have to leave Rosero, Salloi, and Flores at home. With no decent midfield subs, its going to be tall order for a draw or win in LA.

    Sporting Kansas City
    Questionable

    • Defender Dany Rosero (Hip)
    Out
    • Midfielder Danny Flores (Concussion Protocol)
    • Midfielder Felipe Hernandez (Administrative Leave)
    • Defender Logan Ndenbe (ACL)
    • Forward Daniel Salloi (Ankle)
    • Midfielder Remi Walter (Knee)
    LA Galaxy
    Questionable

    • Midfielder Riqui Puig (Groin)
    Out
    • Midfielder Gaston Brugman (Knee)

Fingers crossed that the narrative tonight is that the second string finds that second gear and saves the season. Or maybe some magical animal appears? Or perhaps PV will hear the fans down in Fanville and his futbol brain will grow two sizes. Sorry, I'm in a strange place. Go Sporting!

I'm attending with family. Coincidence that our vacation overlapped with the game. I hope the LA fans don't laugh at us.

Are these guys going to call the game or drone on with Robbie Rogers all night?

The later. It feels like I’m watch a Galaxy broadcast on ESPN+ or MLS live, not Apple TV. I say that having enjoyed Rogers as a player, but cmon, call the game.

There was some world class ball watching by SKC on the LA goal.

Think PV needs to find another position to try to justify Shelton’s salary, cause starting RB is not it. Even before the goal his giveaways are much more dangerous when at RB.

2 - 0. Can't do the announcing any longer. Not sure they even said the name Pulido on his miss. Goodnight.

It’s a goal that didn’t have an xG of .0 something

How about Bassing on the 4th goal, he must have been checking his text messages because he sure wasn’t watching the game.

Multiple candidates for worst case of ball watching. Bassong knows the LA player is there, why does he let him get behind?

We made it 3-2 late and had no interest in 3-3.

Bassong must want to retire bc I have no idea what that guy was doing.

19% of LAG’ point total this year have been gift wrapped courtesy of Sporting Kansas City. We are charity FC at this point.

Shelton’s passing was so bad, in the first half my 8 year old son shouted “Khiry disconnected my wifi.”

(My son was not on wifi).

We were maybe 30 away fans in section 208. What an embarrassing performance.

Pulido is injured. He barely moves. His left leg was wrapped and they iced him when he came off.

For as little tallent as Afrifa and Agada posess, the team look much more dangerous when that line came on.

This team is a USL roster impersonating an MLS club. Why any person would willing spend money to watch this turd of a club is beyond me. I should have gone to LA in July and watched el traffico.

Our overwhelming problem this year. Every shot is from 45 yards out. Tonight, we worked the ball into the box several times.
that, one and all, is some world class silver lining finding.
We were horrible. Jeebus we were bad.
Okay, Shelton? The announcers kept talking about how the question is, can he defend and merge that his obvious offensive prowess. I agree, his play is offensive, but he's never really been able to pass. had one great one last weekend. but how many unforced giveaways? Three? Six?
    And no, he cannot defend.
I don't understand why Pulido seems so disinterested. Did we lock him in a cage and force him to take $3.6m this year?
Vargas wasn't good, but he was an improvement on Salloi this season.
    JR is old.
Melia had some great saves. OTOH, are we looking to rebuild with a 38 year old keeper? They noted that Vermes said we were 3 windows away, so we'll be ready to compete when he's 39 (or, given the amount of time Vermes needs to bed in newbies, 40)?
I dunno. It was really boring and sad to watch.

There were a lot of disappointing things that happened last night, but the one that made me mad was the way SKC was treated by the announcers. There was no recognition that a worthy opponent was on the field with LA. Yes, SKC sucked, but to chatter on until the 29th minute of the first half with no seeming interest in the game was infuriating and insulting. Then, after the Robbie Roger’s diatribe was over, they bring on another guy and ignore more of the game. Apple TV is not taking the sport nor its teams seriously when they program that kind of conversation during a live game.
I was also mad that SKC fans made an effort to show up in LA for the game and then have to sit through a performance so bad that the home crowd feels sorry for you. I've been a fan of the team for over 25 years now and have experienced what its like to walk out of a competitors stadium with them laughing at us. When new ownership took over, I thought that kind of situation was gone forever.
The third component of this debacle is the acceptance of an organization that allows such questionable player signings and contract extensions as to put the team in the position described above. Ownership is just as culpable as the staff for the rot that has taken place with SKC. PV thinks it will take 3 windows to correct his mistakes. That's quite an admission of his failure to put a competitive team on the pitch, and a breathtaking realization that ownership will keep him around after admitting it.

The broadcast sounded like a pre-Apple broadcast that was on ESPN+ or MLS Live where they just used the LA feed for the game.
