Back in the days when I was a lad, somebody in the Clock End at Highbury would always bring a huge inflatable banana (don't ask me why) and every now and again an inflatable woman or sheep would pop up clear on the other side of the stand and they would slowly and inevitable make their way towards each other for some not very family friendly entertainment. Its amazing how much of a kid I am but I still laugh at it today just thinking about it. Stadium full of little boys.
Ok, this came to me watching the kids play in the pool the other day. We have had discussions about a call and response chant....Kasnas..City... or some other such thing that would be easy to follow and get the crowd to participate in. Well, I may have found one that would work.... Read the word below, and see what comes to mind: Marco! Polo right? This came to me after the "offsides" call Monday. What about a call and response of Marco-Polo when the refs are blind, or at least in our mind blind or make a bad call? Is is childishly simple...yes. As a full on supporter and old timer do I particularly like the simplicity...no. BUT, as a fan and someone that has watched the atmosphere in the stadium grow and crowd participation grow I see this as something that could work and would be a natural for even hand-sitters to follow. Anyhow, just thought I would put it out for discussion. You will not hurt my feelings if you say it is stupid, because really it is Simplicity at its best, but in an effort to expand crowd involvement stadium wide this may be our best shot at a full on call and response chant. Let's amp up the energy from the Cauldron today and make it a more impressive show than last game. The only time we really sounded off was when the ref made a bad call (which was often, granted, but let's make it last through the whole game).
I love the idea! It could easily get started. We yell "KANSAS" in the Cauldron and the South Stand Guardians can yell "CITY" and hopefully like the Shots/Everybody chant it will catch on with the rest of the stadium. Or we could split it east-west and hope those outside the Cauldron can figure it out....
I saw my friend the other day He told me 'bout a guy who could really play So I asked, "Who is he?" He told me that his name is Graham Zusi Graham Zusi Graham Zusi Everybody knows he's Graham Zusi

I think it is very cool that you keep the Wizards as a nickname and The Cauldron as a SG. More power to you.....It has a wicked kinda undertone! http://youtu.be/LxoE2az9mJM <
