Agree about that. I think it might have been a good idea to announce it first with the reasons. Just out of interest - i thought the premium people do not get this - but you seem to say you do?
Don't they get ads based on the amount of people the site gets (more people on a site, more people would see the add, advertiser would give more) so essentially even people who don't pay have a right to complain since their presence alone already contributes to the site financially? Meh. Just get a good browser, right click, block content = bye bye ad.
If the ads don't exist how would anyone see them? Please explain how a freeloader's mere presence contributes to the site financially. This ought to be good.

oscar is of course right an example banner rate from my own experience with forum advertising would be $10 per 1000 views. So my freeloading reading and posting alone on this site could easily generate the owners up to $100 p/a by my rough sums it could of course be a lot more or a lot less For instance lots of the ads are adsense ones which are CPC not CPM
Oscar he must no know that sites are paid by advertisment companies by the amount of traffic the site gets. So the "freeloaders" are getting the site revenue through there "freeloading", more traffic = more money. That's why paying members don't get ads and non-paying ones do. JermeyEritera, please do your research or atleast know what your talking about before you post next time.

Why pay for membership of a site where they'll pepper you with adds and where mods can troll you then punish you when you respond? If they want to be paid they should offer better customer service.
