    Two-face dude was bizarre.

    Word.

Watched a raw version of this a couple months ago - excellent stuff. I hope this gets the wide release it deserves ... might even be a better work than Mononoke Hime.

Funny, I just saw this movie last night and was wondering if there was a thread.

Great movie, even if the plot feels like it was an afterthought. Some fun side characters (my wife and I both loved the mouse / fly combo and the living soot), beautiful animation, really enthralling. Go see it.

This has been at the big theater close to me for a few weeks now and I keep meaning to see it but didn't have the time. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to.

The new yorker describes the "mom" as a "bobble headed grandma on speed"

My 8 year old likes to come in and say, "if you don't play with me, I'll cry, and If I cry, my mother will come in here and kill you".

    My wife isn't amused...

It's interesting that here in Dallas there seemed to be no attempt to market it to kids. I think it would scare many of them, but the young one's who have seen it seem to like it okay.
