The San Diego Spirit has apparently hired Bo 'Tank' Stephenson as head coach, effective immediately. Stephenson, 41 coached his daughter's youth team for 2 years. The team's recently hired GM said, 'While we had hoped to get someone with more experience, everybody turned us down. I'm just glad someone has finally accepted our offer." Said Stephenson, "I'm quite confident I can do at least as well as the previous coach, who led the team to a seventh-place finish in an eight team league. How hard can that be?"
As Bo 'Tank' Stephenson's tactical assistant, the Spirit have lured Sir Alex Ferguson away from Manchester United to take over the duties. "I've experienced many highs in the world of professional football," said the knighted Scotsman, "but this is a dream come true for me. I am leaving my job here at Manchester effective immediately to go on a scouting mission in...I think it's called...Santa Clarita. I hear the weather's nice there." Spirit staff were ecstatic over the new hirings, hoping a Tank and a Knight would mix well as the Spirit coaching staff.
Contrary to rumors floating around.. There is not a rift between April Heinrichs, head coach of the USWNT, and Sir Alex Ferguson.

I can see how it would be. He can piggyback on the success of Stephenson and the Spirit. Stephenson's daughter was estactic, "My dad is a great coach," she said, "He can teach the Spirit some of the stuff he taught my team, so the Spirit won't stink like they did last year."
and yet pags got called to camp and moores seems to have gotten lost in the mail... oh wait... nevermind... she didnt' get called up at all
