Saturday September 1st Just when you figured it would get easier after being part of the marquee match up of matchday 1 to kick off the Bundesliga term at the defending back to back champs... Werder gets relief at home, but up next is the Nord Derby If Werder can play at a similar level as they did this past Friday against Dortmund, then I like their chances against Hamburg. I think a much needed match at Weser Stadion will help boost the efforts as well
----------------Fritz-----Hunt --Arnatovic------De Bruyne--------Elia -------------------Fullkrug Would love to see this. But does it work?
I think it would. But in the recent tests Schaaf fields Füllkrug very often in the winger position. Yesterday at Berndorf, one day after the Dortmund match, Schaaf fielded this team with many bench players: Wolf Ignjovski (46. Prödl)-Lukimya-Affolter-Schmitz Bargfrede Ekici-A.Stevanovic (46. Junuzovic) Arnautovic (46. Elia)-Füllkrug Petersen Result 13-1, goals by: Petersen (3) Ekici (3) Füllkrug (3) [Switched to right wing after Elia came in] A. Stevanovic (2) Schmitz (2)
i saw Kreiszeitung mentioning murmurs of Akpala possibly starting up top against Hamburg this weekend... as long as it isn't Petersen starting, I will be happy
damn it, petersen given another chance this is starting to irritate me, the further cramming of him down our throats to try and justify him coming over for the season starting 11 for today Miele- Theo, Prodl, Sokratis, Fritz- Arnautovic, de Bruyne, Juno, Hunt, Elia- Petersen
lineup for the bad guys Adler - Bruma, Mancienne, Westermann, Aogo - Jiracek, Badelj - Son, Ilicevic, Jansen – Rudnevs
Home game woot WOOT! Play Akpakadak please I wanna see goals! And the feed craps 2 minutes to kick off
ya no kidding...I'm not complaining though they have the speed to shut down the counter! And looking good both directions on the wings.
Good match so far, Hunt missed 1 PK and scored another. Juno has been awful. But generally good flow and exciting to watch. Arno, deBruyne and now Peterson have been the story really.
