The agreements in the secret contract of FC Bayern Munich with Kirch Group seem to have a bigger extent than expected. According to next Monday's "Spiegel" everything was about central marketing, which is denied by Bayern Munich.

According to the news magazine, Bayern explained in the 17 pages contract to "help and work for keeping the centralised marketing". Furthermore the contract says that "Bayern will do the best to influence the other Bundesliga clubs to this direction." For that Kirch secured about 100 M Euro payments.

In a "Secret Agreement" of half a page the contract was determined for "members of the highest officiating level only". The duty to stay the silent was agreed to be kept over the end of the contract.

End of February, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge explained that the secret contract is about pay per view rights. Rumours about payments for agreeing to centralised marketing with the meanwhile insolvent Kirch Group (most of it was bought by Haim Saban btw) were called "nonsense".

DFL is still checking the contract.

If Spiegel is right, then there can only be one decision IMO.
