Take some ibuprofen if you have it. And put some cotton wool in your ear to stop any air getting into your ear. Its more than likely that your ear is inflamed so the ibuprofen will help to reduce the swelling and act as a painkiller too. Just make sure you have something to eat before you take it as you should never take ibuprofen on an empty stomach as it can cause stomach ulcers.

It depends whats in the cold and flu stuff you've taken. You can usually take Ibuprofen and paracetomal so if thats the only painkiller in the cold and flu stuff you should be fine. Why would you take cold and flu stuff for an ear ache?

If it has something like co-codomol/codiene in then don't take the ibuprofen as thats a much stronger painkiler. You should however be able to take some ibuprofen in 4 hours time if its still being a pain in the ass.

flush it with alcohol and then let really warm water sit in the ear for a few minuets. that works for me...

The only thing you should put in your ear is cod liver oil. The sort you can buy from a chemist as it acts a lubricant and softens any wax.

You should heat it first until its warm then pour it in and keep your head tilted for a few minutes and put some cotton wool in your ear.

he could be getting an ear infection, alcohol will kill off any bacteria that has entered the ear and, it could be that he has scratches deep inside the ear which i have gotten many times, the alcohol would help them heal, the warm water would soothe and clear out the ear wax.

 

The only thing that will get rid of the infection is a course of Antibiotics. Plus it depends if its a bacteria or viral infection and whether its otitis media or otitis externa so the alcohol may not reach all of the inner ear.

But feel free to put whatever you want in your ears! hahaha!

hasnt dropped below 100` here in days! seriously, it has been over 100 every day for weeks. i havnt gone to the park in over a week, so im juggling in the house and my mother is about to kill me with her bare hands...

 

It's just as hot here with the asphalt and cement also its very humid around here but then again NC has the same climate no point in comparing its probably about the same...

 

my house is in downtown raleigh, like among the buildings, its over 100 years old so the govt wouldnt let anyone destroy it... but i love it here... anyways... ya im getting the same accumulated heat stuff as you...
