Spector gets the start at LB tomorrow at City. Also comments from Curbishley: Curbishley made three changes to his starting XI for the Valley match, and he was happy with the outcome. "I made some changes for Liverpool and I was really pleased with three people in particular: Jonathan Spector, Radostin Kishishev and Chris Perry,” he revealed. "Perry had been out of the team a little while but came in and took the challenge up and that's what we needed. "I was pleased for Spector because I think he showed what he's about on Wednesday. I know that his previous game against Man City wasn't the best but nor was anyone's that day. Link:http://www.charlton-athletic.co.uk/newsview.ink?nid=23466&newstype=x
He's hoping for another solid display from the lad. Not too sure where he will figure long-term, but it is a very good headache to have.
If I recall it was Spector getting schooled by Sinclair that led him to be sat down for most of the last few weeks. Let's hope he is able to contain the speedy Sinclair this time.
Over a foot of fresh snow is on the ground, my in-laws are stuck across town at the Hyatt, and FSC is showing...another game. It could have been a perfect day.
The BBC should have the local feed for internet audio. Go to www.cafc.co.uk and click on Multimedia and you'll find a link to the BBC. Go Jonny boy! EXCELLENT sign that he's getting the start.
As for Spector, he is getting a lot action as Man City seems to be mostly attacking down their right (Charlton's left). The goal came off of a scramble that followed a cross from their right, but JS wasn't the guy marking the cross (whether he was supposed to be, I don't know). Great experience for him going up against Sinclair.
The cross came in almost from the touch line...there was someone else from Charlton out there marking and JS was closer to the box, looking for someone to mark (at least thats how it looked). The cross went well over his head to almost the other side of the box.

Just a note on the above link - its also supposed to be on ESPN and Guandong Sports, but this is the only link that worked for me. No English commentary and its delayed about 3-4 minutes, but the picture is clear and its not buffering/skipping....
Mostly back and forth in the midfield at the moment, with Citeh generally coming out better off. Charlton doesn't seem to have much shape. JS seems to be getting pulled inside a lot on the backline...almost looks like he is man-marking in some cases.
Sinclair is out at the half. " Sinclair has been withdrawn for the hosts with a suspected damaged cheekbone. On in his place is recent new signing Georgios Samaras, who will no doubt be desperate to make an early impression with the home fans."
Second half underway...was just in the process of typing that Charlton looks much much better so far and they get the equaliser.
