Having been Ariel Graziani a Quakes player, I thought you guys would like to see the amazing goal he scored last night for his new club, Barcelona from Ecuador against Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires Bombonera Stadium, in Copa Libertadores.

I can get the file, but I don't have the right codec to view it. What kind of decoder does it use?

    You need an MPEG2 decoder:

    "VIDEO: MPEG2 320x240 (aspect 2) 29.97 fps 2304.0 kbps (288.0 kbyte/s)
    [V] filefmt:2 fourcc:0x10000002 size:320x240 fps:29.97 ftime:=0.0334"

This is the same as is used on DVD's, I believe.

For those who get Fox Sports Espanol (ch. 602 on digital cable), the one-hour wrapup show "El Show de la Copa Libertadores" airs tomorrow (Friday) at 5 and 8 PM PST.

    Mandrake is a Linux distribution.

You can buy a computer with an easy-to-use Linux distro already installed at walmart for $300

Rather than watch Graz do something fantastic for somebody else, I think I'll just bang my head on the keyboard. It'll feel better than thinking 'maybe Ching'll do that too.'

It does make you feel better......hey look.....I spelled the name of a Korean Discovery player we will soon pick up. I'll call him Jhuy Mnh for short. Imaginary player to go with my imaginary friends.....ok, ok I lied, not friends, just friend. Not all of us are scary popular, even in an imaginary world. :(

That is a once in a lifetime goal. The defense sucked bigtime, but still it was a marvelous effort by Ariel.

Umm, sure, nice juggling but... where the hell was the defence while he did his little circus act? Obviously Boca didn't think that he could score a goal from that angle or something cause the simply didn't go after him. Other than that... nice goal.

Question: is MLS done with Graziani? Is he not coming back?

Unfortunately he is done with MLS for a while anyway....like him or not, he was entertaining and productive while he was in MLS. Quakes will badly miss him this season. :(

Saw it last night on Contacto Deportivo

I was watching the Libertadores highlights last night on Contacto Deportivo (Telefutura, ch. 46 here in Los Angeles) when I saw a thing of beauty.

    An amazing goal!

my limited understanding of my Spanish language allows me to translate

    "quien lo marco"

    to

    "who is marking him?"

but really, anybody could tell that that was some awful defense.

i also think that the shot was much better than his five touches before it.
