Anyone out there interested in a Liga prediction contest for the 2002-03 season, much like we do on the German Bundesliga list?

You get one point for a correction prediction plus 2 points for a correct score.

IE Sevilla 2 Betis 3 prediction
    Depor 1 Celta 0 prediction

    actual Sevilla Betis score 1-2
    actual Depor Celta score 1-0

You would get one point for Sevilla Betis prediction since you predicted the team that won the game and 3 points for the Depor Celta prediction, (one for the winner prediction and two points for the correct score).

If there is enough interest I will submit on Wednesdays the upcoming matches and all prediction must be sent to the list by 0800 hrs. Pacific Standard Time (-8 hrs GMT) on Saturday. I would post the results late on Sunday or first thing on Monday on the weekends that I have Army Reserves.

There is no prize for winning except for bragging rights which for some on this list is worth millions! ;>)

Let me know if you are interested?

Count me in too, we could always do it Quiniela style (1X2)?

Do we predict Segunda matches as well? Did you win any money by playing the Quiniela? I think I won one time. I'd have better odds of winning Once than the Quiniela.

The best I ever did was 10 out of 15, and it was the first time I ever played, before I had a good idea of all of the personalities and records of the clubs. Just goes to show that the more you know, the less you understand...
