Spain will be playing the PRC on Sunday 3 June at the Sanchez Pizjuan (AKA "La Pocilga") at 2200 hrs CET, 1600 hrs EDT, and 1300 hrs PDT. The match will be streamed on ESPN3 and would imagine that ESPN Deportes will also show it but haven't seen the schedule yet.

This is La Furia Roja's last friendly match prior to heading to Poland for the Euro 2012 tourney. This match will include the Barca and Bilbao players who were called up, so one can expect that VDB will start his XI players that he has in mind for the Italy-Spain match on 10 June.

Aupa Espanha y La Furia Roja!!

China can beat New Zealand though, if we can beat China we should be able to deal with Italy.

I guess they made a deal where they would lower their interest rates for the Spanish debt if the NT's played a friendly. It's a shame that Benhat won't be suited up for the match it would help the jersey sales when Er Glorioso goes on their China preseason tour. Not too many Beticos in China but hey if Barca and Madrid can do it why can't Betis, yeah give me a break!!

Also ESPN Deportes will show the match live here in the US.

Saturday's training at La Cartuja, venue for Sunday's friendly against China.

Former Spanish international and current China coach Jose Antonio Camacho dropped by to visit his old Real Madrid teammate Vicente Del Bosque and the rest of the Spanish team.
The session saw Del Bosque line up a 3-2-3-2 formation with Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos and Albiol in the back three, Cazorla, Silva and Mata in attacking midfield with Negredo joining Torres up front.

2 semi clear chances for Torres.. someone like Drogba would have scored them.
I am so disappointed with him.

And if we are going to play Navas.. we need to field Llorente with him.
    All his crosses go nowhere.

Silva and Navas are giving Torres some competition when it comes to horrible finishing.

They better put on their shooting boots when the tourney begins.

On a normal day this game would have ended 4-0 easily (maybe 4-1 without that great save by Iker) while the scoreline wouldn't show it, the team played good yesterday creating various very good chances. If we play every match like last night, I'm not worrying.

And thank God daily for having both Iniesta and Silva in the same team, Jesus Christ I love watching them show their skills in red. ;)

We have Negredo and Torres playing for us now (how come Llorente didn't get in?). This is going to be the norm for Spain in this tournament. Create some nice half chance opportunities but never have any cutting edge.

Agreed. We showed an alarming lack of scoring presence in the box. I'm seriously worried about the Italy game.
