https://football-italia.net/mckennie-back-juventus-training-shoulder/ USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie returned to group training for Juventus wearing shoulder support, but he’s expected to be available tomorrow when the Old Lady face VfB Stuttgart in the Champions League. 1848293240119632028 is not a valid tweet id
Juventus lose 1-0 with a Stuttgart goal in the final minutes. Juve went down to 10 on a RC for Danilo, but Perin saved the PK, but it wasn't enough as they give up the winner in injury time. Locatelli came on for Wes at 55. (I did not see this game btw.) Weah also came on at 55.
Was an awful Juventus performance. Could have been 4-0. Stuggart dominating at Juventus is a bit sad.
Just like the recent USMNT game, throw it away and never speak of it again from the player perspective. Poor all around minus a couple individuals like Perin, Kalulu, and a couple Weah bright spots. Motta was def. outcoached by Hoeneß. Wes shouldn't have started, but that isn't on him. Inter at the weekend.
that was a game - wow. Juve never quit. Inter are vulnerable if Juve or someone else can keep landing points.
McKennie finished the game with 2 assists although the second one was down to the goal scorer and not the pass.
I mean, yeah on the Yildiz effort, but a 30-yard crossfield pass into the attacking half which switches the side of play ain't nothin'. More likely to be the pass before the assist, admittecly.
Can we call Wes a starter yet? Still seems some sentiment on Paramount + and occasionally here that he is still fighting for a space. Seems pretty locked in as a starter to me over the past 6 weeks or so.
