His first touch on the first was Pulisicesque.

That first assist is world class.

That forward (can't remember his name) meeds to buy West a nice watch. West is keeping him on the field.

I think that we can start talking about Weston as the top midfielder in the history of US Soccer. His best is yet to come. He has more growth to come in club soccer. I could see him as a Real Madrid player. Thats his next level...the Pulisic level...and he can get there.

As for with the US, he is great against Mexico and has had some good games internationally. He also had a quality tournament in Qatar. He just needs his World Cup moment, and boy is that opportunity coming. There is also an opportunity in Copa America this summer.

And some people took forever to warm to this guy.

His vision has improved so much. He gets it, it's a team sport.

Yep. He has improved more than I thought he might, tactically and technically. Italy has been a nice place for refining his game, if not his food choices...

I had hoped Bradley would be that figure for the USMNT but it's currently Weston and he will probably end up with the title especially with the likes of playing for Juventus for several years.

When we said "get a brace, Wes" this is NOT what we meant...

    Bummer.

Wes has some history with his shoulder popping out. Does anyone know if this time it was more severe because he has always seemed to bounce back pretty fast before? Knowing that he has a bad shoulder that has come out before makes it all the more crazy that he is able to make those long throw-ins.

dislocations and 'subluxations' (where it pops in-and-out very quickly) tend to compound until the tendons around the shoulder are so loose that high-grade dislocations start becoming frequent. This is what happened to me in HS as a basketball player (small subluxations followed by a low-grade dislocation that set itself a few seconds later followed by 4 dislocations in 3 months requiring ER visits to reset), and I wound up getting surgery that was INSANELY effective. Kept me off the court for about 3 months, but I haven't had a fill dislocation since (TBF, my competitive career ended 4 years later after college so... small sample size).

Maybe the shoulder is why he does the long throws with such odd form

Nah. He used the same throwing motion of a baseball, and at the last second, he shifts the ball over his head before releasing.

Word on the street is that they did another shoulder scan/test today to see the full extent of the damage, and the cast was just precautionary until they know for sure.
However, I’m still having no luck finding word on the results of said scan…

@feyenoordsoccerfan is normally our go-to guy when seeking access to health information in Europe. Let's see if he can help us.

  20. The best place to get medical info is to go to the player's own social media like tictoc or X or whatever it's now trending.
Privacy rules in the EU are now so severe that no one dares to publish medical info, unless with permission of the player himself.
So the obvious place to find out is the player's social media accounts.
If there's nothing, the chances finding anything elsewhere are very slim.

I'm not a doctor but I have dislocated my left shoulder like 5 times over the years and this seems reckless.

Could be; it depends on the grade. At some point he will probably have to opt for surgery.
