They are really struggling with injuries and the honeymoon period with nuno seems to be over but with Kane and Son there is always a threat.

Hope to see kante back and control the midfield better than saul managed. Also would like to see more minutes for Werner and chilly.

CP still nursing an ankle injury.

    COYB!

Saul needs some more time I think. This is going to be a tough one if sperz play like they can.

He definitely needed to be eased in a bit more.

Always tough to play in a derby as the other team will raise their game. I just hope we raise ours more and what we saw in Europe was the lads conserving a lot of energy.

I've seen a decent number of Twitter polls asking about the midfield pairing and honestly, I think we see Kova and Jorgi start. Kova has been our best player this season IMO.

I'm not too worried, which is actually a little worrying. Spurs are a weird side. Regarding Saul, he definitely needs time but even some sub appearances would do him some good. Also, maybe a start against a side that is gonna sit back would be a good start.

The news about Greaves will give this a certain poignancy I'd think, being a great player for both clubs. We have a thread on him in the CFC threads if people want to comment.

Kova has always been good, with great drive. But he has always needed to attack a little more. Score goals, sure, but also create opportunities and assists. He is doing that now. The No.8 suits him better than the No.17 maybe? The arrival of Saul in the squad has made him up his game maybe? Tuchel was right to throw Saul into the deep end, Saul is an expensive and experienced player, but he needs to know what our league is like and what is expected of him and now he knows. Looking forward to seeing how he responds.

Mendy out must be injured as not on the bench, Kepa starts :(

However all Spuds injuries seem to have been miraculously cured

Never ideal to lose your starting keeper but kepa has been fine under tuchel. Big opportunity for him today.

Mount struggling again. Commentators excited about Tottenham's strategy but because of their high press, it could've been 3-0 already.

We should’ve scored a few already. Mount and Havertz fluffing their lines.

I don't know why there's such a hesitancy to feed Lukaku when he's in between the central defenders and the back line is retreating. I think we've seen it in just about every game.

With this kind of pace and press I would feel more comfortable with James and Chillwell as wing backs and Kante rather than the sluggish Jorghi.

Very poor from us so far overall. Hopefully the other mob are running themselves out of puff.

I like that Silva's response to being targeted is to get right up in Son's face and say, "bring it on"

One of those high energy low quality affairs.

They are doing a good job of swarming kai and mason which means we cannot feed lukaku.

Ndombele looks up for it and creating more than most but their main threat remains jorginho on the ball. The places he coughs up posession is consistently dangerous for us.

Well we have made it to half time, we need to regroup and adapt to the Spuds tactics.
