No replay means it was a foul.

Haven't seen a replay of White getting run over in the first half either.

Yeah odd. I think that maybe was just a production mistake. The announcers were acting like the replay was about to play or that they were seeing it themselves.

82' Eddie has our first shot in I can't remember how long. That's a bit more like it.

Lyanco has got cramp. So target him now!

Edit: he proceeds to pour a water bottle inside his socks to cool his calves. Hilarious!

i hate this garbage. like, people always complain about players dramatically going down in the box but garbage (non) calls like that is why they have to. elyounoussi lunged at and fouled tierney in the box but because he tried to play on, referee doesn't even bother to consider a penalty.

sure, the ball being out is the correct call but that's fully ignoring the foul preceding it.

We have been dogshit in the 2nd half for 2 weeks in a row. Game should have been dead in the 1st half anyway.

Really need some depth in Jan. I like Vieira but he isn't ready to come in and take over Ode and command the game.

Theo gets called for the most blatant dive of the day, for either side. Give the ref a little love? ;)

So many dogshit lazy passes especially by Partey. We need depth in Jan.

dude tried to headbutt nketiah as well.

all because nketiah had the temerity to tussle with him . . . . y'know, like he'd been doing all game.

    FT SOU 1-1 ARS

Another frustrating game. Not only because of questionable non-calls by HR.

    We threw away 2pts.

Transformed from the team which was dominant to the team which was completely on the defensive.

Only late in 2T, and with some needed subs, did we seem to get a fire under our butts.

I guess we're just tired. And Mikel's reticence to rotate more is compounding that.

Oh well, our cushion at the top is halved, but it coulda been worse I guess.

Well can't win when its 11 v 12 on the pitch.

But we need better depth. Partey was cooked at the end, we had no energy and movement, and Vieira just isn't the guy yet. Way too slight and was pushed off the ball.

That's my least favorite fixture of the season out of the way, anyway.

Worrying series of performances though. Only 1 goal in each of the last 4, and our defense isn't exactly solid.

yeah, too many games in a row for partey. especially with him recently coming into the mid-week games as well.

it's not even just being pushed off the ball but vieira was also terribly mistake prone with giving the ball away. rough game for him. surprisingly bad turnout for 2 of the subs, vieira and nketiah. eddie couldn't control or retain the ball for anything.

Failed to round out the squad knowing we play twice a week every week until the World Cup, and now we are paying the price. We have been completely flat for a few games now, and had quite a lot of fortune keeping the winning run going.

without going full metal jitty, this game feels like FA going, "damn it. the 1st place gap is too high. BRING THEM BACK!" with so many of the calls.

The penalties being called in other games, and then the non-penalties on Jesus, White and Tierney, are a ********ing disgrace and why I will continue to heap shit and bully epl refs online.

Make them professional. Hold them accountable. Its clear todays ref is either incompetent or has an agenda. Topped off with the yellow for that weird headbutt then grab on Nketiah. Anyone else and its a straight red.

Well, they didn't lose and it appears no major injuries suffered, but fatigue needs to be addressed.

I've no delusions about Arsenal's potential for the season, but I do want them to be more clinical against lower teams. The season is a marathon, and maximizing points is usually more about cleaning up against weaker teams than it is about fighting hard against the giants.

    Onward and upward.
