B-team defense is out there today so no surprise we let one in, its nice how we're good enough going forward these days to overcome the inevitable

Red and rightfully so. Let’s pull Cole, Moi and Cucu at half. Need them rested for Spurs and 3-1 and a man up and we should be fine.

Idk man, I remember a certain Spurs CB that yanked him to the ground by his hair that wasn’t even called as a foul. Cost us 3 points too. He prob thought it was a non issue.

Wish we had made a few subs earlier with Spurs in mind. At least Astana is the mid week game after and it’s at the Bridge so we will likely see a rotation and rest given there for the key players that played today and will again on the weekend.

That was of course Taylor refereeing and his mate in the VAR box latter admitted that as Taylor was having a bad game he didn't want to embarrass him any further

Good performance, though the defence wasn't severely tested, it's aways hard to gauge when the opposition goes a man down but in all honesty we could have scored ten!

Love hearing the fans singing - "we've got our Chelsea back"

European Kazakhstan is the western part of the territory of Kazakhstan and it is just about in Europe. Which is more than you can say about Israel.

Oh when the saints, oh when the saints go marching out. . .

Disasi proving how a CB should score from a corner. Wes and Levi take note.

The team had a good energy and spirit about them. That could easily have 9 or 10 or more. Nice performance.

I was stuck at Dr.'s during match, just watched first half; what a difference a year makes, last year I thought Caicedo might be an all time bust, now he is pure sublime and might turn into one of our best value for money deals.

Saints eesh, if they want Martin for the long term, they just oughta give him some time off in the verdant country hills til nest seasons Championship starts before he is broken forever

In the spirit of being able to start a fight in an empty room, what a difference perception makes:

I find this seasons team far more enjoyable, forming an identity of play, fun, you can see the purpose and growth with the coaching, I can't wait for next match, scoring goals for fun, seems like a big upgrade in coaching.

But our table points per match form this season is basically the same as pooch had us over the last four months of last season (@2 pts per match and in top 3, but Arse and City were on far better form than they are so far this season).

Now I may have been too subtle to show it, but I was not a fan of pooch, and was skeptical about Enzo Sr. early though I am liking his jib and team now. (I still wonder a bit about his late subs and who he chooses, and his willingness to go to plan b when needed)

Just interesting in a good way how much more harmonious all seems with the team and the supporters and the press this Fall compared to last Spring.

(of course perhaps Todd used Hollywood body-double magic and we have the real Pep and City has the untested clone model.)

Its probably the amount of goals we're scoring, if there was one thing we were struggling with over recent seasons it was scoring goals but this season we've been banging them in left right and centre. The most satisfaction I'm getting is watching pundit after pundit eating their words, a couple of months ago we were supposed to be a 'car crash' with a bloated squad of 'average players' that were bought with a 'scatter gun' approach and no thought, we supposedly hired a manager with 'no experience' that would flatter to deceive and our owners were clueless Americans that had no idea about professional football (soccer). ................Now all of a sudden we have a manager who is a tactical genius, TWO strong elevens containing exciting young prospects and a bright future! And all of this based on nothing but results.

I want to give a big shout out to a gentlemen called Simon Jordan, an ex owner (of Crystal Palace) who now works on UK radio (talksport) who was the ONLY voice that defended the owners and the clubs strategy over the last season or so, he was the ONLY one that defended the spending on the young players, the ONLY one that could see what the owners were trying to do and the ONLY one that saw the potential in the team for this season.

Just as one example of the god-awful punditry is Jackson..........the amount of times I heard them harp on about how bad he was last season apparently blissfully unaware of how many goals he scored last season - blood obvious to most that there was a good player just wanting some Premier League experience (he scored more goals in his first season with us than Drogba did with his first season with us I believe). And the giggles they gave concerning the size of the squad now looks rather foolish when we can put out two competitive 11's alternately every week doesn't it? :-D

Fun game to watch. Nice to see us put away a bad team like we should. Not much of a tug on Cucarella’s hair, but I think he deserved it karmacly.
