Double substitution for the R's. Jimmy Smith and Steve Lomas on. Marc Bircham and Stefan Bailey off.

Almost exactly the same moves as last week. Kanyuka for Rose (injured) early, then double center midfield subs with a lead in the second half. Only difference is Smith instead of Ward.

Pedro Pele off, Kenwyne Jones on for Southampton as they switch to a more offensive formation.

Blackstock breaks into the box nicely and forces Southampton to concede a corner.

Stewart heads just wide on the corner.

Oooh, Blackstock just shot over the bar from about five yards out after a nice ball in from Jimmy Smith. Sounds like he should have scored.

Southampton makes their last sub -- Andrew Surman on for Bradley Wright-Phillips.

The commentators were just discussing that the QPR fans have been "sensational" this afternoon. Particularly throughout the second half (or, really, since the first goal), you've been able to hear them singing on quite a few occasions.

Glad they've been given their money's worth.

Not quite as much as they're getting at Ninian Park though. Cardiff now up 4-nil. Premier League Disaster Management officials might start preparing for the worst - Cardiff in the top flight.

We've conceded and dealt with a couple of corners in the last couple of moments.

    Come on, you R's!

Cook to Blackstock to Cook. Mario Licka fouls Cook and receives a yellow for it. There was one covering defender, so no red.

FIVE minutes of injury time. Come on... that's too much.

Referee has come up with 4 added minuted at Chelsea too. How do you have that much in halves with no goals?!

Six subs, so that's maybe 3 minutes? Cook was down for about 30 seconds or so, but did Prav even come on the pitch? No other injuries of note. No goals. Five seems too much.

About one minute left.... COME ON UUUUURRRRRRRR'S!

What a fabulous result! I had a feeling that we'd play well today, but after we conceded I thought it was all over.

I think that takes the Hoops to the lofty heights of 15th!

I've got a bottle of Fuller's 1845 Bottle Conditioned Ale in the fridge that'll serve quite nicely for a celebratory toast to the R's on their first road win of the season!

    Come on you Supaaaaaaah....

Delicious! I'm off to Pittsburgh (oddly enough). I'll have a dozen or so Iron Cities to celebrate.

Have a good time in Pittsburgh.

In the recap, the commentator said there were "about 3,000" QPR fans. Overall attendance today at St. Mary's was 25,185.

Norwich and Burnley play tomorrow, so we could drop one spot if Norwich wins or draws, but after today's games, we're up to 16th -- 3 points and GD above the relegation zone, 4 points and GD behind a play-off spot.

Awesome, sounds like we're finally getting some lively young strikers into the mix (what's happened to Baidoo, on that note?), now let's find the next Shittu.

Great 3 points on the road. Things certainly seem to be looking up for the RRR's at the moment.

Norwich lost 1-4 at home to Burnley and then sacked their manager, so the R's remain in 16th place as we head to the break. Norwich is our next opponent, so here's hoping they don't get a "new manager bounce" at our expense.

He was an unused sub against Hull, so Gregory did have him in the squad for that one. Jimmy Smith and Kevin Gallen took the places of Nick Ward and Shabazz Baidoo on the bench for this one.
