Half past early o'clock for this one.

No silva or pulisic due to injury concerns.

I'm not going to try and predict a starting line up as tuchel is still tinkering. Will be interesting to see if kepa has done enough to keep his spot in goal. I'm a little worried about ziyech's lack of minutes.

If we play with the same commitment and discipline we've shown lately we'll make it seven league defeats in a row for the Saints. If we get complacent, anyone can beat anyone in this league.

No Hudson Odoi. No wingers in the starting 11 today. At least Jorginho isn't starting.

Well time to see if we have managed to stop teams on long loosing runs using Chelsea to break the run.

Good to see Kante back I hope he has recovered from his recent problems. CHO rested for Madrid?

Tough to break down a side that shows zero ambition of their own.

Patience is the watchword so far.

I expect to see CHO introduced early and maybe chilwell in the other side (tuchel didnt look overly happy with alonso).

Tammy has done absolutely nothing but hasn't had any service either. Maybe OG to change the job their back 8 have to do?

This is reminiscent of the old chelsea. More of the ball and we get into good positions, only to fluff up the last pass or the shot. Then we get hit with the sucker punch from a side that's largely been under the cosh.

Yeah, CHO as you say. We need someone to run at their defence and not in a 'headless chicken' sense we've been seeing.

How on earth can a team with 75% possession fail to create a single clear cut chance on goal! How the hell are we going to get back into the game without having a single shot on target?
It might be the usual story in the he second half Chelsea with 85% possession 35 shots at goal 0 on target, Southampton cross the halfway line twice more and a final score of
    Saints 3 Chelsea 0! :-D
