For some unwarranted reason I don't trust this guy. Sure, we haven't seen his managerial prowess yet, but to me, this dude smiles way too much and kisses up to the Korean media way too much. This for me, signals two things and they are incompetence and weakness. I want my leaders to be on the cutting edge, to be cold as ice, to be arrogant, because arrogant people can write checks that their mouths can cash. That is the sole reason why they are arrogant, because they are great at what they do and are full of confidence.

The appearence Coelho is showing is that of a buffoon for me. Again, these are just unwarranted assumptions and I may be wrong, but I truly think he won't do well. I wish for his success, but I just don't see it.

Lets not tempt fate. It definately is not a good idea to say things like that just because your first impression of him isn't good. The poor guy is in a no win situation because he's being compared with Hiddink ever since he got the job, and it will only make things worse by saying things like this.

He seems to be a polite man by nature and even if he does not do things so well I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for the first few months. It's only fair that way. Lets keep things criticism free for the time being. Otherwise nothing he does from now will be satisfactory because what Hiddink did will always be better (whether it's true or not).

Well put. Of course, I'm sure there are tons of people who share your skepticism. Still, WC 2006 is still 3 years away so we got plenty of time to make things happen.
