after my thread on europe of the 80’s i decide to cut the decades in 2 pieces.
So her is south america for 80 to. 84

    Formation is : 3-4-2-1

    GK : Fillol
    LB : Junior
    RB : Leandro
    CB : Passerella
A four man midfield : Socrates, Ardiles, Toninho-Cerezo and Falcao.
2 attacking players : Zico and Maradona
    1 striker : Kempes

I know kempes was more a foreward then a poacher but in this line up i think he will suit perfectly.
Cerezo and Ardiles can help in defense when needed.

In the 1980-84, the usual systems in SA were: 4-3-3 and 4-4-2.

btw, after WC 1978, Kempes wasn't a world class player, anymore.

I know but systems can be adepted to players.
As for kempes between 81 and 84 he averaged a goal every 2 games (from 76 to 81 he had 142 games and 95 goals)
