Who do you think has been Souness' best signing so far?

    You can't include Owen....

I would call that Shearer's best signing. :D

Well I have to agree he has helped :)

But I got to say well done Souness for going after him, well done Shepherd for putting up 35M+ this summer for transfers, and well done Alan for being Alan.

Lets look at the positives, we have lost 3 games (Man U and Chelsea are 2), we can only get better and we are above Blunderland.

    Season starts now :)

The losses are to ManWho, Bolton, and Arsenal.

Sorry I meant ARSE, just too excited :)

I mean, we never expected to beat l'arse on their home soil in the last game between us at Highbury did we? We should have had more from Bolton though, but now we have strikers :)

Personally I agree, he is vital, I just think that Owen has the wow factor which might get the players and fans going again.

He really has not made a bad signing if you ask me.

    Owen of course.

Paker and Emre are tired for 2nd after that, they are both class.

Souness has really gotten it right with his signings.

    Ofcourse.

Where is he? I thought he'd be excited about Emre playing with Owen.

Where do Turkish people go on holiday? They live in a holiday nation.

    Emre!

Owen may be the best player, but Emre was signed for far cheaper. Better value by far.

Agreed, all you guys have to do is keep Emre injury free and you will get the best out of him, one reason why he struggled last season with Inter was persistent injuries otherwise you`ve got your self a world class play making schemer.

Owen is a great addition to you guys just like Luque more attacking threats and with shearer still there, it`s only a matter of time for results to come.

your team will definately be strong should you field a pairing of, Jenas, Dyer, Emre, Scott Parker, Bowyer.. with Owen, Luque and Shearer up front plus you`ve got Faye who is a good player.

see you during your next match versus Fulham..

isn`t Faye a midfield holder or defensive midfielder, i think so, he will provide some cover off the bench now that your side is star studded especially from midfield and attack. With the quality you have , i wouldn`t want him to start either but just in case of extra bite or injury concerns he may as well help.

Agreed though that he is not start calibre like the others.

i was delighted when he signed for Newcastle because i thought he would be a great success, obviosly i got it all wrong. Just don`t understand why he failed to make the grade in the premiership. We will see with his second return to the primera. may be with the world cup in sight he will return to his former prolific self.
