Thanks for the frequent swinging with the info. Sounders fans are rather confused because the initial reports were that he was released from his contract.

No problem. I think he was "released", which is what was said at the press conference today and what I posted initially, so the deal could get done quick and the details worked out later. You guys are in for a treat. He was always a fan favorite and is a true leader on and off the field. Sad to see him go, but we all know that it is best for him. He will be one of the few players who leave Kaiserslautern who can always come back, like Klose.
I am kinda shocked that the Sounders would go after Tiffert. IMHO Tiffert & Rosales are very similar. Does this mean that Rosales will be leaving?? IMHO that would be a big mistake if the Sounders didn't hold onto Rosales. No the less enjoy the work of Tiffert. Dude is a wizard from the midfield.
