News came via press release. http://twitter.com/#!/MLS_Analyst/status/47817105206280192 Sure we'll find out more in the next few hours.
Yeah, there was an incident at practice that must have been big. No. Expect O'Brian White up top. And another DP in July, I'd say.
Here's the story, which is brief at the moment: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/sounders-cut-ties-swiss-forward-nkufo
holy shit, surprising. Looks like my man obrian white is gonna have a breakout season his talent deserves
It's possible his speed will test the Galaxy backline more than Nkufo would've anyway. Yea, probably a bigger one than Nkufo too given their deep pockets and their publicly stated commitment and urgency to win the Cup this year.
two first names is one thing, but two last names is lunacy. his name drives me crazy every time i hear/see it.
Really shocking. Reminds me of last year when the Fire released Jon Busch shortly before the first game. It really seemed as though they were gonna rely on Nkufo to be a major contributor and take the heat off of Montero. Their major problem has been scoring goals consistently and now they have to rely on O Brien White. I will be really interested to see the reason why this happened.

is he heading home/back to europe or do you think he will stick around and someone else in MLS will pick him up?
Well, since we haven't started the season yet, I'd say it is an amazing way to end the off-season player movement thread.
The Revs were rumored to be in negotiations with Angel before L.A. signed him--they tried to get even more age on that fake turf. Dabo's broke down already. Next--Nkufo to Revs.
Forgot he was Swiss. I'm thinking he's going to go to Vancouver. He has family living there, he could join the other Swiss playing for the 'Caps and we need more strikers since Selgado probably won't be playing for most of the year.
