Starting this thread early as I'm leaving town this afternoon and will miss the match. Rapids are fighting to keep from free falling down the standings and loosing a good playoff seeding. Sounders are ascendant with 4 wins and a draw in their last 5. Currently the 'Pids are in 6th on 50 pts, Sounders are in 3rd on 53 pts (tied with FSL).

Come on Rapids! But I hate to make a prediction. Excited to be there in a season I’ve missed a lot games.
2-2, goals by Navarro and Mihailovic. This seems really optimistic at this point and the 2-2 score line is becoming my go to but I can't predict a win and I can't predict a good defensive performance the way this team is playing. I'm hopeful that the final home match and Seattle being a little tired from the 3rd game in a week will be enough to push us to at least a draw and clinching that playoff home match. I'd hate to go into Austin in two weeks needing a result to avoid 9th place. https://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2024/10/hopefully-not-last-home-game-of-season.html
Free fall is perfect description, team has nothing left to give. Maybe the 2 week break will help. Certainly can hurt
General lack of depth not player specific, imo The few impact players we have are gassed after playing practically every minute this season
