http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnew...eadline=sorry---we-were-hoaxed-name_page.html "The hoax photographs are a sad episode in our long and distinguished history" LOL.
The demise of Piers Morgan is a glorious spectacle (well, insomuch as a £1m pay-off and an immediate deluge of lucrative TV offers can be called a "demise"). Sadly for apologists everywhere, the elephantine ego of one of Fleet Street's most pompous and odeous hacks does little or nothing to alter the reality that these fake photographs purported to depict. The free press is a many-headed beast. Much to the dismay of many on the right of western politics for whom episodes such as this are an excuse for a very welcome and increasingly rare opportunity to indulge in a spot of Schadenfreude.
I remember when a friend of mine saw the pictures the first time he said they are fake, that they look "strange". If the press doesn´t realy try to confirm the authenticity it´s I think not only that editor should get sacked.
