Todays game was only fair to the eyes of the blind, a.k.a, the refs. Just know that todays game means a harder a** kicking on Sat. I challenge every single last one of you LA fans to watch your disgracleful team loose.

Galaxy sure didn't celebrate like they took over the division.....except fishboy....they knew the refs head was up his a$$ and they benefitted from it.

This gift from the refs. to the GAYlaxy just adds to the drama of this year's season finale.Everyone (who is honest and has at least one eye working) knows that the only way the GAYlaxy could of won this game was by getting a gift from the refs or linesmen. We all know the match was all San JO, and that in overtime we were going to win.Just the way we did lat year in the CUP!Remember that?!

Anyway,I sure hope Ruiz takes that linesman out to dinner or takes him shopping or something.

You are the poorest fans in the league. Win or lose all you ever have to talk about is whinging over the referees.

You came to tie and you got what you deserved for your cynical play.

No it is poeple like you who are completly satisfied with the result of the game that are the worst in this league. We are proud that our team went over thier and represented us very well actually. In fact we even got a Cup last year because we are THAT GOOD. It is people like you who would rather see this league make a dumb call and embarras itself. We will not let this be something that is let go. I am a Quakes fan and I know the sport. That makes me better than you anyday, Sir.

Perhaps you missed the World Cup. Mistakes by officials happen the world around. If your team had been down here to get three points they could have had them when the Gs went flat in the middle of the second half but the Smurfs were clearly playing for one.

Kicking someone in the face makes you a crap player. So does scoring a winning offside goal. If you do both, it makes you an absolute disgrace. And then when your fans brag about it, it makes the league look pathetic.

    Who's hot? GaLAxy, baby!

Yeah, those darned refs. That's what the Fire fans said when Dema was carded for diving and Fishy scored the winning goal while supposedly being offside. The Fire fans complained about the refs, until they saw it on TV.

And GaLAxy fans have no reason to gloat. Saturday's match will only determine which team gets home pitch throughout the MLS Cup tournament. Unless some other team pulls their heads out of the sand and figures out how to beat the California teams, first or third won't matter because LA and SJ will be on the pitch at Gillette in October.

As far as the season finale, call it gloating, but here are the facts:
The GaLAxy are the only team to win three consecutive matches.
The GaLAxy have won five of their last six, seven of their last nine, and a US Open victory against SJ @ Spartan.
Finally, after LA lost at Spartan on 7/7/02, the GaLAxy have only lost two of their last eleven.

And SJ? They're going in the opposite direciton.

This Saturday @ Spartan, the Flakes are playing host to the hottest team in the league.

Let me guess, you learned that spelling of "Galaxy" from the boys in your sixth grade class. Come back when you've learned some adult smack, kiddo.

And that means how much now? Nada. Oh, sorry, that's probably too complex a word for you, nada means "nothing."

We won the game, you lost. Coming here and crying to us about it is beyond childish. Go back to school and come back you have enough cojones to accept defeat when it comes your way because I guarantee you, it will come again. First chance - next weekend.

Who's gloating here? I'll say it right now that Ruiz was a step or two offside, but the linesman didn't call it so the G's took advantage of it and put it away and won. As Gooner stated, refs make mistakes all the time and teams get away with it.

An ugly win and a boring grudge match, but I'll take the points. What do you want me to do, give them up? Funk that.

    Forget your Landon sign again?

Just to be fair, the Galaxy deserved to win--the ref's assistant wasn't looking so Ruiz played on. Cannon was caught off guard and the players will keep on going if they don't hear a whistle. The team took advantage of that mistake and got the "goal".

Ugly win for LA tonight. Credit to them for taking advantage for the assistant's gaffe.

Go ahead and celebrate. Keep the points. Topper, Dan, and the rest of you can gloat. Next weekend, the result is going to be different.

    Cheers!

You obviously haven't been paying close attention. Both LA and San Jose have horrible road records, amongst the worst in the league. Whoever comes in second between the two teams will be the #3 team, and will NOT have home-field advantage if they play the Eastern champ.

If LA finishes first and San Jose second and things go according to plan in the first round of the playoffs, the second round will likely have Columbus and San Jose playing, with Columbus have home-field advantage.

And that's how San Jose will lose.

What a bunch of crybaby sore losers. It happens, get over it. Yes, fish looked offside from where I was standing. Don't tell me flopper boy Landon has never taken advantage of a poor decision by a ref. It happens. It's a part of all sports. Get over yoursleves and come out to play next Saturday. Non of that borning playing for a draw Yallop had them do last night.

oh yeah, and don't go posting Thread Subjects that give away the result. You'll only force the mods to change it.

And which ref are SJ fans blaming for their team not scoring once last night? Counting the open cup, thats two games where the Hosers haven't beaten either LA keeper, home or away.

Will Yallop be disciplined by the MLS for that disgraceful display at the end? He and his toadies were down in front of the LA bench and throwing things at LAG. I was kind of hoping Sigi would sit on him.

okay..so who changed the title of the thread. Be sure that you're going to be reported....the only reason we might even be coming off as sore losers is because we know that it was injustice to the quakes and every single fan of soccer.

Call it what you'd like, it was plainly unjustified. We would have beat you guys if not for that stupid goal in the 10 min OT. Trust me. Regardless, of yesterday, LA still su ckes. Cobi is still a dope feine. And you'll never be the Quakes.

Fine. It was an injustice. Now please return to the androgynous menstral pit from which you came.

If Quake fans spent half as much energy into actually GOING to the frigg'n games as they do on BITCHING about how much they loathe all things LA, perhaps they wouldn't be the MLS equivalent of the drunken uncle who abandons his kids and whom the family rarely mentions.
