We need you to be the "muscle" on the field, not in the net. :D

I would be interested in playing wherever needed with the exception of goalie.

Haha. I'm here after years of not playing at all so we'll see how it goes. Will there be some kind of mass e-mail to inform people for a practice at some time? I'm just curious so I don't miss the start.

    Oh and Nicho...

Registration is Now open on the Casa league site. I PMed round lucious davey but i figured he was still recovering from last night. If you PM me with your Name, Email, and desired Jersey Number (if we don't have it oh well). I will try to put a list together to see exactly how many are really interested. I would say that you are going to have to pay $65 - $75 depending on the amount of players on the team and if we have multiple teams. This probably will not include a jersey since most of us disliked last years jerseys.... Should we put this to a vote:confused:

and for all the new players just order through the league... Maybe we can use the shirts from last year then all new SOBs get a gold t-shirt style shirt? Like the ones we have for indoor.

Thatd make us look crazy ghetto and make us with tshirts feel less important. Why dont you see if you can field a second team like youve been talking about.

With all the new players I think we'll have to get t-shirts.

We should get a form up on the site ASAP and guesstimate how much it's going to cost.

Don't mean to step on anyone's toes as a newbie to the team(s), but if we have two teams, we should go with nicknames used for English teams with two teams in the same town, such as SOB United/SOB City. Or model it after Sheffield and just pick a random day of the week for the second team.

I'm looking forward to it, sorry I couldn't make it Wednesday. Ended up having to work.

SOB FC might get a little letter-heavy, haha. I like Independence and Athletic.

Good point, my bad. And of course, there'd have to be some sort of contrived name for the SOB on SOB Derby.

But to say the "old guys" aren't competitive would be a faux pas seeing as we made it to the semi finals last season.;)

No im not saying they arent competitive, but I noticed alot of guys said they are there just to have fun and dont really care if they win or lose. Then I noticed some guys say theyd really rather win. Thats all I meant.

Everyone needs to remember (myself especially) we play for the logo on the shirt and are ambassadors for our group. So ultra competitiveness is a weird thing to bring to the table. Its welcome but not too much.

Ofcourse. But Im saying for those that just want to have fun i dont think they should be stuck with the crazy guys. And if we fielded a serious, competitive team, we could show them what we are really about.
