Ndombele was the true assist for the first goal, he also looked good he's just still not fit for 90 minutes + had a yellow Might come to the point where he's gonna be a 60 min player. If he can show his world-beating status in those 60 mins, it's still worth it Must feel gratifying to finally get his first PL hat, hopefully he can break his personal best on PL goals this season, hoping for 20+!
Ndombele looks like he has a serious eating disorder. Team looked much better when Lo Celso came on. I don't think Ndembele will ever be able to play more an 30 minutes for this team. Very expensive mistake.
tldw: - underlapping left back - good pace - good at beating defenders 1v1 with his dribbling and pace - can press high up the field - anticipates interceptions well - his anticipation for interceptions can cause him to leave vulnerable space open for attackers curious how he'll play with SHM on the left. theoretically, like doherty who is also an underlapping fullback, reguilon would play with a wide winger who hugs the touchline to provide space for underlapping runs. i think SHM prefers getting in the same space that reguilon does (near the edge of the box rather than hugging the touchline) so i hope they develop understanding quickly so they don't make themselves redundant spatially like moura and doherty did at times against everton.

Jees. Son is getting better and better every year. Loved that goal. Cool and composed hitting over 2 bodies in the way tucking it into the corner with precision.
Kane (3G 4A) and Son (5G 2A) has 7 goal contributions each. Tottenham in all comp. scored 10 goals which means Kane and Son are responsible for 70% of goals scored in this new season.
While watching All or Nothing, I forgot that the squad actually played w/a lot of fight at the beginning of Mou's tenure (not the highest quality games, but he was thrust into a Spurs team that was 14th place), reaching top 5 and nearly catching up to Chelsea only to lose Kane + Son and then the season went to shit because w/o those 2 there's literally no offensive prowess on the team. Then, the COVID-19 break was a blessing in disguise for the recovery of Kane/Son and they nearly made a miracle run back to top 4 again. They're so vital to the team and with all these Mourinho signings I'm pretty hopeful for the team's success as long as Kane/Son stay healthy. Reguilon + Bale + KMJ(doubtful imo) are going to be exciting as well
Kim Minjae would get eaten alive in PL frankly. He's entirely unproven. He needs to move to Europe first ASAP. All promising Korean players with ambition should move to Europe ASAP. Unfortunately, they lose all their political connections when they do that and make an enemy of Korean domestic football world. This is the #1 reason why Korea will never reach full football potential.
Injury? Can't be tactical since he was their greatest threat in the 1st half. And Bergwin is lining up exactly the same as Son did.
Getting ready for Chelsea. At the Uefa cup match Jose told Son not to run...during the tail end of a match
they have chelsea in the league cup on tuesday, then maccabi haifa on thursday. son can use some rest, even though i don't trust this team with a 1-0 lead
It's unfortunate given Newcastle is pushing up and playing 442 and giving the Spurs more space to work with.
On top of that ridiculous pen decision, Son picked up a hamstring injury. According to Mou, "We'll have him out a while." https://www.football.london/tottenh...enham-press-conference-live-mourinho-19005543
