He's probably gonna stay. No team bigger than Tottenham would build their attack around him as a #1 or 2 option. Also he's got too many years on his current contract to force Levy to sell for a bargain price.
Not happening with Spurs. http://www.kleagueunited.com/2021/05/time-to-move-on-whats-next-for-son.html
continues to avoid any attacking moves, even when there's space in front of him he'll pass backwards . The poor souls who struggle to get the ball to him in an attacking position only to see him pass back must be so frustrated . His lousiness (months now) would be ok if he wasn't above being benched or subbed. A classic example of a player not needing to try to get a first team place and taking full advantage
He needs coaching to say be more direct in attack. Jose messed up the minds of many united players...including LVG. Valencia used to be lethal going forward. Constantly running into space on the right wing and putting in dangerous crosses. He stopped doing this once LVG and Jose made him prefer keeping possession instead of going on the attack. I think Son has suffered from this. He needs to be encouraged again to attack. Maybe he's tired. Thats always an excuse.
Kamada might be a good Ericksen replacement. https://www.givemesport.com/1693204-tottenham-transfer-rumours-spurs-want-15assist-star
I don't recall that he did. There's been talk that it was eminent, but I don't think the deal's been done.
I think Son was offered 200K a week. Salah wants 400K a week. Son is just as good as Salah. Son shouldn't have problem making close to 400K a week.
Might be a bit too late for a major overhaul. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...nsfer-news-10-players-leave-Lucas-Moura-Spurs
LOL, Spurs are a third rate club. ----- Per sources @holazuni, the holdup in the Son Heung-Min contract negotiations is due to yearly salary numbers. Son originally asked for 250-280k/week but is now understood to be willing to accept 230-250k. Meanwhile, Tottenham is only willing to offer 200k + options. https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/comments/np0ruk/per_sources_holazuni_the_holdup_in_the_son/
Maybe he'd be in a better negotiation position if he hadn't stopped running half way into the season. Meanwhile 200k is the same that Salah is on at Liverpool. And we're in a time when every club that isn't financially doped are cutting costs.
The wage demands are what they are - but I can't agree with you that he "stopped running half way into the season" based on what I watched. Perhaps you watch more and saw things I didn't.
