Son's form has fallen off a cliff, can't remember the last good game he's had. Dawdling way too long with the ball. Is this a case of Mourinho managing the flair/creativity out of the side?
And who said Son doesn't score goals against big teams?..sure he may have had an off game...but the goal clinched the win...
Son put in a fantastic shift, was working hard on defense all day long, tracking back and helping stifle attacks (although the pass/shot/possession % won't show that)--really nice for him to get a goal, Spurs seem to play at 110% vs Man City and it's great to see.
son is now doing defensive duties as well as attack. this will take toll on his fitness. he is running too much.

Scoring 4 games in a row. Getting back to form. Dele with 2020 vision to earn #thfc a potentially match winning penalty. pic.twitter.com/My8h4CRNm5— Hotspur Related (@HotspurRelated) February 5, 2020
So much argument about a dive. https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/ezgwe5/tottenham_3_2_southampton_son_penalty_87_call/ Clear Contact: https://imgur.com/xJCkEDx
His glove did touch Son's leg but I think well after Son started falling. With "Parasite" being up for quite a few Oscars, they should add another Korean to the nominee list All part of the game and it cleared VAR so there's that.

Really doesn't look like the hand, it was the leg that clipped the keeper's knee that caused him to fall--hard to see contact but some angles clearly show Son's leg getting hit mid stride causing him to fall. It's a pen through and through but very obvious to see why he's getting piled on for diving (also a heavy dose of Arsenal fans in that thread, lol)
