IMO, Kane does more harm to the team. Being English gives him all the advantages, including playing fulltime in the champs league final when he is even less fit than the stripped woman who ran into the pitch today.

He was very good second half. Posed real questions, tested the keeper twice with good shots. It was a brave performance from him second half. Winning is in the DNA of some clubs and others are still trying to figure it out. The teams with history will always have that added air of difference, always, that matters in the big moments. A sense of belonging. Liverpool, Juve, Barca, Man U, Real etc all have that. The PSGs and Spurs are still searching. Proud of Sonny tonight. Not a great performance, but a brave one nonetheless.

Expected result, though not in the way it happened.

Bright side is that last year, Liverpool too lost the final in a boneheaded way. But they bounced back. This Spurs team is clearly incomplete so the immediate future is exciting.

Son also looked like the only attacker with a pulse.

Liverpool was terrible today. They couldn't string two passes together. The Spurs really gifted them the two goals: first by Sissoko second by Dier with his failed clearance.

Spurs really have to pick up some more help this summer. This ownership has been getting away with murder.

Mvp of his team if this help in someway to accept the final outcome.
Allison is not a gk you can beat with that kind of shoot.
Anyway Spurs played 10men for the whole match (Kane) and they practically started the game 0 - 1, not exactly the easiest trail to victory.
Liverpool took his revenge against fate after 1 year.

Thought the three week layoff might help him regain his scoring touch and wished Son could have finished one of his chances, but it just wasn't meant to be. Still, he had an excellent season overall and am excited for what next season will bring. And even if that two week stretch in April ends up being the highlight of his career, then that's more than what most professional footballers will accomplish. Certainly more than I would have ever expected out of Son back several years ago. Proud of our boy and appreciative of the joy he brought us this season!

Good try from the boys. If Pochy leaves, Son should leave right with him. Sure there are clubs who want him after his run.

He should stay for at least another season I think. See if he really does love the club.

However , my preference would be for him to join Bayern Munich, Juve or Real Madrid.

    Wont happen....

Pochettino screwed up the subs. Too much waiting for the 1. sub, and Kane should've been off, not Alli, who looked the most dangerous. Son, sadly, should've taken some shots he didn't take.

True, but I'm not sure who he could replace Kane for. Llorente was not even an option as he's just a downgraded version of a normal number 9.

As for Son, he was completely outclassed, and struggled to take on the Liverpool defence, and some of the chances he lost in the first half was just embarrassing. In the second half, he gave up on trying to actually get past the players and one of his shots from outside the box was the best chance on goal from Tottenham.

The only player from the Tottenham side that deserves commendation is Danny Rose. Absolute workhorse, and did everything he was expected to do. Too bad his teammates were useless.

If they don't get better players this summer, Son should seriously think about leaving this club. He's not getting any younger. Life of a footballer is very short.

the match was lost when harry winks was selected as a starter in the champions league final.

thought aurier should've started or gotten more minutes at least. rose and tripper are just so inconsistent and the gap in quality and discipline of FBs between the two sides were apparent. TAA and robertson are such important pieces

The amount of favoritism shown towards Kane in this club is so harmful. Would Son have started this match if he didn't play for 3 months? He should think about leaving a 2nd tier club if he's not going to be the main man.

do you have any idea how revered Kane is in England?

to not start him would be a complete travesty in many eyes injury or not especially in a match of this stature. Poch cannot be blamed for starting him. He can take heat for how long the guy was on the pitch for sure though and he should've been subbed out a lot earlier.

this nonsense though about how Kane was even in the match is BS though. If they had lost 2-0 with a healthy Kane on the bench, there would've been hell to pay.

Actually Juve is a realistic transfer.
If Pochettino, one of the names for the next season, will move there Son will be a perfect choice since the like of D.Costa and Dybala are going to leave.
