They would just have to turn around and spend that same money on a replacement. They are beyond stupid if they think they can get through this season with CL commitments given their current squad minus Son.

It also states that Everton and Leicester City were interested in him, but he wanted to return back to the Bundesliga.

However, you guys need to remember that this is Bild we are talking about. This is the German version of DailyMail.

He's mainly focusing on the match vs China rather than the transfer:

이에 대해 손흥민은 "이적설에 대해서는 특별하게 신경 쓰지 않고 있다. 중국전을 준비하는데 큰 변수는 없을 것이다. 축구에만 집중할 것이고, 제가 신경 쓸 일이 아니다. 이적설이 나오는 것이 좋은 징조라 볼수는 없지만 독일에서 관심을 보인다는 것은 좋은 현상이다. 이적설에 대해 들은바 없기 때문에 중국전만 집중하겠다"고 답했다.

Obviously they forbid him to tell anything until it gets official ;)

    (At least I think that)

€75M for Draxler? Draxler is good, but there is no way he is worth that much. (imo)

There goes Arsenal's chances of actually signing Draxler.

They were never going to let him leave. They just sold Chadli too.

    :whistling:
This situation with SHM sounds like Lamela from last season: rumored to leave all summer and then cancelled at the last minute (Poch blocked it because they couldn't secure a replacement).

Tottenham are in all sorts of problems at the moment. Their N'Koudou deal that they sealed last month might still fall through, and their last ditch attempt to sign Isco and Sissoko are doubtful.

They've also upped their offer for Zaha to £21M from £12M.

In any case, any latest news regarding Son's transfer would come from Korea, given that he will have to fly off to Wolfsburg to do his medical.

He can do his medical in Korea... provided Wolfsburg officials are in Korea atm.

There's still the issue of contract negotiation and etc... but if the previous reports were true and the personal terms have been agreed in advance, I guess the transfer isn't completely out of question.

and also that the second bid was fictitious

caveat emptor. you can do anything you want when buying (skipping medical, outsourcing medical to 3rd party) but you're taking on risk of damaged goods.

The bundesliga window operates in a different way so we're nearing the point where we'd know if he were going. As to if Tottenham gets options to compete for Son though is still up in the air, but right now there is room given departures of Chadli and Clinton.

market prices are inflated right now. And i think his skill set is attractive in the modern game. I think that price would be fair for him if there wasn't the military exemption cloud hanging over him.
