https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clydrywxwkro 4 years is a long time for Korea standards. Goes to show if you mess with the rich and powerful they'll strangle you with an iron grip. Son paid her 200k USD for shit and giggles? Nah, he got her pregnant and paid for her to have an abortion.
Went to the game, yesterday. Pretty miserable. Not only the bad loss, but the team just seems out of synch. Son had a chance in the 1st half and with clear sight of goal, he didn't take the shot. Instead, he stopped and laid if off for David Martinez who hit a homerun ball. Son's confidence is at a low point. I think, in spite of old legs, Son is better on the left, and Bouanga in the middle. Perisic plays as a winger as a 37 year old with no speed, because he passes well and sends in quality crosses. No one on the team can cross with any accuracy right now.
0 goals in a farmers league. he's beyond washed and should retire from the national team instead of selfishly taking a spot from the younger players even though he knows he has forgotten how to play football.
K League is a stronger league than MLS and he's still struggling out there. Good thing for him is that no one gives a hoot about MLS so no one knows how much of a fraud he's become. He lost his ability to beat his man years ago and it looks like he lost his ability to be lethal in front of goal too.
I watched the highlights. That was the most one-sided match that I have ever seen LAFC lose in. And I rarely saw Son with the ball. If the highlights are a true depiction of the entire match, then there's something really fishy going on with this team.
He's playing like shit in the MLS. There is a reason he fled from Europe. K-League and MLS is his level now.
For some reason, the coach placed Son as a midfielder instead of a forward. And Houston went full defense.
Jeez.. his form is fking garbage right now.... His first touch and dribbles are like when he was in Bundesliga.
Retire from the national team... your seniors all retire on their own... Why haven't you retired yet? Honestly, you didn't even perform well in the Asian Cup... I think it would be right to give opportunities to your juniors...
I don't watch MLS full time because I don't have Apple TV nor do I have the Korean channel that shows it. From what I've seen from the highlights, Son did very well under his first LAFC head coach. He even got a hat trick during that time. Currently, he has the most assists in MLS. But it seems that being in LAFC worsened Son's skills over time under the new head coach. That being said, I'm very concerned for the future of Korean soccer overall. Most of the Korean schools banned soccer recently over fears of getting sued by the parents if their students get injured in the games. (Most of the Korean parents don't want the banning of soccer in the schools). Actually, the downfall started early because of the way the KFA handled the adult and youth teams. And many of the Asian teams that Korea used to win easily are much stronger now. Recently, Korea's youth team struggled against Uzbekistan and Vietnam. I'm afraid that we might see a time in which we don't see Korea in the World Cups. Italy has gone down the same path for some reason. (Actually, it's much harder to qualify from UEFA than it is from AFC). I remember a time when teams like Romania and Bulgaria were strong teams. Much of the younger generations aren't aware of this. I'm afraid that Korea will become like those countries in the future. The more I see the way Korea declines, the more I get convinced that there's a conspiracy to ruin Korean soccer, both unintentionally by personal greed and corruption and intentionally from outside influence.
lol @ banning soccer by these soft parents (which generation?) if thats the case we really do deserve to suck thats the dumbest thing Ive heard in a long time
