Game at 0-0 with plenty of the first half to go. Son on the bench.
First half drawing to a close with Chelsea on top 1-0. I think Son is still on the bench.

edit: 80th minute tied 1-1, Hamburg makes their third sub, who wasn't Son. I was typing here and then look back at the stream and Son is in the game!
Son scores!!(*y$()*#@!qyrnalkfn alsk:nflknw!!!!!!!!!!!
SCORES against Chelsea! 2-1 about 5 minutes left
I love this kid. Love him.
What a little gem.
Even if he turns out to be a flash in the pan, it's one hell of a flash.
Son turned Carvalho inside out for that goal, from the right side of the box faking right and then going left and making space for himself and drawing out the goalie before finishing with his left.
Had a couple other good touches as well, some in the box.
Koreans have a good scoring record against Chelsea this year. Hopefully that translates well for PJS and LCY.
And HSV fans must be creaming themselves right now.
Son > Suk
There ya go. A finish with his left foot
Ganahal must have his hardest boner he has ever had right now.
I have to take back anything I have said of him. In hindsight, I only overlooked the possiblity of him switching his position and developing a much smoother dribble and work ethic(sarcasm), but there should be no doubts now that he is a keeper.
One of those longer-than-4-hours-need-to-see-the-doctor type.
All fanboyery and nuthugging will thus forth be diverted from Suk towards Son!

Did this kid just skin John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho?
I love this guy.
Kid just wrote his own ticket for more playing time not just a late sub or cup matches.
you gotta love this kid
a single player scores a preseason goal thanks mostly to some very soft defending, and now people are saying korea will win the world cup four years away! unbelievably optimistic.
Actually, he's up to what, 9 or 10 goals now.
Don't be stupid, the only quote you mention is from a single person who believes that the Korea NT could "one day" win the World Cup. And don't forget the fact that this single player is only 18 years old, has been in great scoring form, and scored against the EPL champions only a few minutes after being substituted onto the pitch. Sure he's a single player, but he and other successful Koreans abroad (like LCY, PCY, etc.) may be indicative of future success internationally.
There is nothing wrong with being optimistic.
He's also taken almost all of his opportunities, scant or generous, when available. Unlike a certain Ajax player.
