Nice find, now get back to mining the internet for more stories. Good robot. BTW what position does he play in MF? Please say DM.
i remember this guy. the huge guy from the u17 team with the baby face and giant foot. link is to his goal vs nigeria: http://www.fifa.com/u17worldcup/video/goalofthetournament.html
You know he's just kidding Which of these youngsters do you guys think have the best chance of succeeding in Europe?
Just saying, if anyone would have found this news first it would have been you our resident cyborg. And yeah that's why I said I was hoping he was a DM at the least since the first post had him down as a MF. We seem to be swelling in our ranks as far as offensive positions are concerned, but we really need some solid defenders coming through the pipeline. If not for 2010 then for 2014.
Nice find. Yea I remember this kid he scored that absolute cracker against Nigeria. But of all the kids, I remember Ahn Jin-beom stood out most in my mind. I wonder how he's doing.
yea i remember him too. shorter but VERY good on the ball. according to the KFA he attended Bukyeong H.S. before the U17 and hasnt really featured since in the latests U20 friendlies. speaking of U17 team i wonder whats going on with Kim Jin Su and Nam Seung Woo. according to KFA Nam and Ahn go to the same H.S. its good to see Lee Jong Ho back and scoring.
Great thread once again, SQ. Watching him play at the U-17 World Cup was a pleasure. His ability to bomb shots from just about anywhere is already in the top echelon.
Wasn't the opening for his goal against Algeria created by his close control and skill on the ball? His goal against Nigeria was incredible...It was a candidate for one of the goals of the tournament. Picked up the ball, good physicality to shield the ball, get it out on to his right foot (he's left-footed I believe) and take the shot. A bit off-topic but his father is the current coach of Chuncheon FC.
Son, you got no chance against an android. You're only hope is to get behind it and find the power switch.
He's training today with the first team in Hamburger SV small picture for him, on the right : http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/10...4852E16F4C1B36F62273467BFFB42E30A760B0D811297
Picture didn't work for me but thanks for the update! Would surely appreciate any more that you come across. BTW if anyone has an internet link to the video of his goal against Nigeria, please post it up. The FIFA one isn't working and I've never seen it. edit: Right after I typed that I realized I had the full match on my hard-drive. Go figure, lol. Watching the goal, he displayed very good close ball-control and strength to shield the ball against a harrassing defender while still moving upfield. The defender was continually on him trying to get a shoulder in when the shot was taken, and what a wonderful strike it was. He also made the Nigerians look like midgets lol, he is like 6'3?
