Hopefully. According to MLS Confidential, The revs and dc have been talkin to Numan about coming over next year. I think he would be a better back up then Sommer.

I think "In Cars" was a great '80s song. He'd be a good addition.

You were thinking of the Dutch keeper mentioned in the Soccer America piece.

No, no, that's RANDY, who also sang "Let's Drop the Big One" I'll take him, he'd fit right in around here ;)

Before Gary did that song "Cars," he had a band called Tubeway Army. They made one album. It is amazing.

I'm not sure how he is between the sticks, though.

That's odd. Why would Dudley Moore, all 4' 10" of him, sing a song about short people?

I wouldn't count on Gary Numan for any athletic activity (his mother runs his fan club and his hair implants are expensive and fragile), but he's a licensed pilot, so he could probably fly the opening-day game ball into Proud Corporate Partner Stadium in an ultralight or something.

Plus, "Every Day I Die" and "This Wreckage" would make excellent after-game exit music.

I dated a girl who's ex, who she lived with shortly, was fascinated with Gary Numan. That was one scary apartment to visit.
