There were no bars around, which is probably a good thing. I do have the rest of the 6-pack from last night. We made it home and unloaded the trailer at 10:30. Beautiful, cold, sunny day.
Having a rare night out. Enjoying the dark Porters and Stouts and Bocks at Bull Falls Brewery. I know I have mentioned it before, but just delicious beer. My lovely "better half" is having a Pecan Porter, awe-some. I have had the Bock, Oatmeal Stout and now Schwarzbeer...and the last of their Oktoberfest.
A couple of beers I've been enjoying recently are Phase Three's Perception of Depth Brown Ale and Church Street Brewing's Righteous Red Ale. I am fine with innovation and enjoy the hazy bois and pastry stouts and all of that, but ******** if well made traditional style beer doesn't end up what I'm drinking 80% of the time. I wish it were as easy to find local breweries that made these styles as it is to see all of the trend-chasing styles the locals pump out. I get it, they have to pay the bills, but I'm sure most can drop one New England Style Milkshake IPA from their lineup in favor of a nut brown ale and not go out of business. Anyway, that's like, reason #500 that I would suck as the head of a brewery- I'd have a pilsner as my flagship, a year round lineup of a Scotch Ale, Red Ale, and Brown Ale, pump out a bunch of seasonal brews and some barrel-aged stouts and never innovate and go out of business in like six months if I was lucky.
You know I bought a bottle once and it was quite smooth for $6. I think they either changed the recipe or got a new supplier. It kinda tastes like it’s been in a meta jar
Well my car is damaged beyond repair ********. Happened 5 minutes after leaving the liquor store. Some payday huh?
